Accurate lab reports on one campus at Konanakunte Cross
Your sample is drawn at our Kanakapura Road collection room and processed at an NABL-accredited laboratory on the same campus. No travelling across the city, no waiting on a courier.
The laboratory processes around 100 patient specimens a day, roughly 1,000 individual tests. Routine bloods are typically reported in around 90 minutes; cultures usually take 48 to 72 hours, sometimes longer where an organism is slow to grow.

Tests we run
The laboratory covers six main areas of testing, run on the same campus as your consultation.
Pregnancy and fertility profiles
First-trimester and second-trimester screening panels, oral glucose tolerance testing (OGTT), thyroid function, TORCH infection screening, and AMH (ovarian reserve) testing. Paediatric tests
Newborn screening, bilirubin (for jaundice monitoring), blood sugar and general paediatric blood work for paediatrics patients.
Adult routine and diagnostic panels
Complete blood count (CBC), liver function tests (LFT), kidney/renal function tests (KFT), lipid profile, HbA1c and blood glucose, electrolytes, calcium and phosphorus, uric acid, iron studies, vitamin panels, thyroid function tests, coagulation studies, ESR and peripheral blood smear examination. Relevant to ongoing care under internal medicine as well as routine screening.
Specialised markers and hormone assays
Cardiac markers, inflammatory markers, hormone assays, tumour markers, infectious-disease serology and autoimmune investigations, run at the on-campus laboratory or sent to a designated reference laboratory where a test needs more specialised equipment than a routine lab carries.
Microbiology and cultures
Culture and sensitivity testing on urine, blood, sputum, pus/wound specimens, body fluids and stool, with antimicrobial susceptibility testing where a culture grows an organism, so your doctor can choose a treatment the organism is known to respond to.
Histopathology and cytology
Routine histopathology and cytology services are available, covering biopsy and tissue samples and cytology specimens.
Quality control and accuracy checks
Results are released under documented internal quality-control procedures, and the laboratory takes part in external quality assessment (proficiency testing), so its accuracy is benchmarked against other laboratories rather than only against itself.

Actual turnaround can shift with sample collection time, whether a repeat test is needed, culture growth patterns, and weekends or holidays. Where a test needs to be sent to a reference laboratory, you’re told the expected timeline before you leave.
24/7 lab access for inpatients and emergency
The laboratory supports outpatient, inpatient and emergency investigations, so samples taken from admitted patients and from the emergency room are handled by the same on-campus lab that runs routine outpatient work.
How your sample is handled
Every sample follows the same tracked path: collected, identified against your details, labelled and barcoded, checked, transported, processed, analysed, validated, and reported. Identification happens before the needle, not after, so the sample carries your identity from the moment it’s drawn.
Samples that don’t meet quality standards (significantly haemolysed, clotted, insufficient volume, or incorrectly labelled) are flagged under defined rejection criteria rather than processed anyway. Where that happens, we ask for a repeat sample instead of reporting a result that couldn’t be trusted.
Preparing for your test
Not every blood test requires fasting. Check your specific test or ask us when you book.
Where fasting is required (for example, fasting blood sugar or a lipid profile), you’ll be told the fasting duration, whether water is permitted, and how to handle your regular medications before the test. Mention any recent illness or medication you’re taking; it can affect certain results.
Home sample collection
Home sample collection is available within 3 to 5 km of the hospital, covering the Kanakapura Road corridor around Konanakunte Cross, Banashankari and JP Nagar, subject to slot availability. Home collection carries an additional fee of 10% on the blood test charge.

Report delivery
Reports are reviewed and authorised by our reporting pathologist, Dr. Mubeen Ahmed, before release. Meet the rest of the clinical team on our doctors.
You can receive your report through our digital portal, by WhatsApp, by email, or as a printed copy at reception, whichever suits you. Critical or significantly abnormal results are escalated to your clinical team directly, not left to reach them in the routine report batch.
Insurance and pricing
A stand-alone diagnostic visit (not linked to a hospital stay) is typically self-pay. If you’re admitted, your lab work is billed as part of your admission and covered under your cashless insurance where applicable.
